Right now, I have been pretty stressed out. I have had a lot of homework, and it has been mostly English. With the vocabulary cards, 150 minutes of reading, and nervous conditions questions, it has been hard to handle that, and my other subjects as well. I find myself trying to get ahead in other classes, but never finding the time to do more to bring up my grade.
Honestly, the hardest part of getting all of my work done is sports and guitar. I have baseball practice everyday, except for sunday. With so much practice, it is hard to get all of my work done. I take baseball very seriously, so I cannot just skip a day if I have to much homework. I have been trying to find time to do guitar as well, because it is a hobby that I really like. I really hope that the work load in English decreases some, because I have been trying to make time for many things that need to be done, and my other subject grades have been suffering lately, because I do not have as much time as I need to study.
Cole, the vocab and 150 minutes of reading have been constants since the beginning of the year and are not going to go away. The best thing you can do is to find ways to work them into your daily routines so that they don't build up and become overwhelming. Finding 20 minutes to read a day and complete a few vocab cards in 10 minutes here and there is much more doable than finding yourself on Sunday with 150 minutes to read and 15 vocab cards to write.
